The Small Edit

Small Claw Clips

Small is not the budget option. Small is the precise one.

A small claw clip has a different job: the half-up, the face-framing section, the front pieces that need placing — not piling. Every Sacrae small claw clip carries the same patented Grip Link System™ as the large ones, scaled down to grip finer sections properly. French-made, in polished acetate.

The problem with small clips

Be honest: most small claw clips look like they came free with something. Thin plastic, glitter where a design should be, and a spring that treats a fine section like it owes it money — snapping shut hard, gripping nothing.

Sacrae makes the small clip the way it makes the large one. Polished cellulose acetate with real depth. A Grip Link System™ tension band instead of the snap-trap spring — designed to hold a smaller, lighter section without sliding out of it. And a finish that does not look childish next to your jewellery, because a small object is still an object you wear.

Small piece. Real mood.

What a small clip is actually for

This is the clip you reach for when the full updo is too much — and "nothing" is too little. The hair moments it owns:

The half-up

Take the crown section, twist once, clip. Face open, length down, done in eight seconds. The move that looks intentional even when it was the third alarm.

Fine & thin hair, full style

If a large clip swallows your hair and slides, small is your real size. The Grip Link band is designed to grip lighter sections — hold without the bulk.

Short hair & front pieces

Shorter lengths and face-framing pieces need a clip that places, not clamps. Small does exactly that — at the temple, the side, the grow-out stage.

Two shapes, two moods

Eva — compact & sculptural

The Eva Small Claw Clip is the quiet one — a compact, polished silhouette for everyday half-up moments. In Glossy Black or Tortoise.

Lena — precise & clean

The Lena Small Claw Clip draws a cleaner, more graphic line — the small clip that reads polished, not cute. In Glossy Black or Tortoise.

How to pick (and use) a small claw clip

  • Match the clip to the section, not the head. A small clip holds a section — the half-up crown, a side piece. For the full length, go up to a large.
  • Fine hair? Twist first. One half-turn before clipping gives the teeth structure to hold — fine sections grip far better twisted.
  • Check what it is made of. Polished acetate keeps its shape and its colour depth. Thin moulded plastic does neither, and looks it.
  • It should survive your handbag. A small clip lives in the bag between hair moments. Acetate and the Grip Link band are built for that life.

Still a hair accessory. Just a much better one.

Made in France, finished in polished acetate, and packed in a cotton pouch and emerald green box. The small piece that earns a place on the vanity — not the bottom of a drawer with the free ones. Small object. Serious standard.
